Road tragedies continue as 19-yr-old man dies in Tipperary




A young man has died and four others have been injured, one seriously, after a two-car collision in County Tipperary, reports RTE.

The collision happened on the N24 in Ballykistin shortly before 9pm Saturday night.

A 19-year-old man who was a passenger in one of the cars died and his body was taken to University Hospital Waterford for an autopsy, reports RTE.

The driver of that vehicle and another passenger, both men, were taken to Limerick University Hospital, where the passenger is in serious condition.

Two occupants of the other vehicle were also taken to UHL with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

The N24 road in Ballykisteen is closed for technical testing and local diversions are in place.
