Road tragedies continue as man dies in single vehicle crash




A man has died in a road accident involving a car in County Limerick.

The crash happened just after 6pm on Sunday evening at Shanbally, outside Abbeyfeale. The 70-yr-old driver was the sole occupant of the vehicle.

According to the Gardaí, the R555 between Abbeyfeale and Duagh remains closed and local bypasses have been put in place.

Garda Forensic Collision investigators will conduct a technical investigation of the crime scene.

Gardaí are calling on any witnesses or anyone who might have video footage of the area to come forward.
