David Schwimmer, who is best known for his role as Ross Geller in the hit American sitcom ‘Friends’, has said in reaction to younger generations criticisms of the show, for having too many white characters, that he would be open to an “all black” remake of the series.
In a sign of the times Schwimmer did his best to appeal to ‘woke’ millennials and the Twittersphere insisting that he is “very aware of my privilege as a heterosexual white male” in his interview with the UK’s Guardian.
The actor who now stars in Sky One and Now TV series ‘Intelligence’, where he plays an ambitious NSA agent, said that he opposed to reviving the Friends characters with the original cast but would love to take part in a once off talk-show reunion.
