RTE have confirmed that Winning Streak will not air this autumn due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.
In a statement the national broadcaster confirmed that the programme will not return due to safety concerns.
A spokesperson said that the decision to cancel the show was made in the interests of safety as the production crew faced challenges implementing social distancing measures.
They added that difficulties proved to much of a risk for players, families, National Lottery staff and staff from KPMG.
