RTE have been heavily criticised after announcing that they’re only going to have Fine Gael’s Leo Varadkar and Fianna Fail’s Micheal Martin on their Primetime leaders’ debate.
Many feel that Varadkar performs badly in TV debates, something that his predecessor Enda Kenny didn’t like to do either.
It appears as though Varadkar is going to have his hands full with any debate however as the latest opinion poll sees Fianna Fail yards ahead of Fine Gael with many saying that the latest black and tan debacle could do real damage to Fine Gael.
