Russian President Vladimir Putin suffered a historic humiliation on the global stage after he was left waiting alone by Turkish President for almost a minute.
Mr. Putin was filmed fidgeting, shifting his weight, and being generally and visibly uncomfortable as he waited for Recep Tayyip Erdogan to greet him ahead of talks in Tehran.
Many believe this was well-deserved payback after Mr. Putin pulled a similar stunt on Mr. Erdogan in Moscow in 2020.
