The Green Party leader Eamon Ryan has said that he hopes to be nominated for Taoiseach this Thursday.
According to The Irish Sun newspaper, Ryan said that he hopes that one of his colleagues nominates him for the role as it would seriously help the country go green.
Ryan said his party are committed to forming a Government and such a nomination would give his party to enact some of its policies.
He added that it is essential going Green is where this country is going to go.
