Gardaí in Co Donegal have begun an investigation after a young teenager was allegedly attacked whilst walking home from a teenage disco.
According to Donegal Daily, the investigation comes after the young boy was attacked on the Port Road, Letterkenny on Saturday evening.
Donegal Daily, reports that the boy was attacked following an exchange of words at the disco.
Gardaí say the boy was taken to hospital for treatment after he received a number kicks to his head and face, it is believed that his injuries are not life-threatening.
