Ryanair profits soar sky high during Q3

The airline’s shareholders, and frequent flyers at large, have good reasons for a positive outlook today as Ryanair has reported a Q3 profit of €49m. This compares to a €35m loss at the same period last year.

Lower oil prices and increased passenger traffic have contributed to this greatly improved result.

Company sources report that traffic numbers have grown by 14% to 21m passengers in the time between October and December.

Ryanair boss Michael O’Leary has said that these strong results reflect the company’s increased focus on customer service and its move into business travel.
