The DUP’s Sammy Wilson was talking hard on last night’s Claire Byrne Show where he didn’t mince his words about the Taoiseach Leo Varadkar.
Most of the show was dedicated to Brexit and how none of us want a hard border returning to the island of Ireland.
Sammy Wilson said that he worked with various environmental and finance ministers in the South.
He said that they worked cohesively together to normalise things as best as possible between the two sides of the border.
But he said “Varadkar, for whatever reasons, has whipped up fears and he has set relationships back by years between Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland”.
