More of it: French government bans words “mother” and “father” from school documents replacing them with “parent 1” and “parent 2”

French schools have banned the terms “mother” and “father” to placate the LGBTIQ community.

In the name of political correctness French school documents will now refer to parents of children as “parent 1” and “parent 2”.

The French parliament pass an amendment on the issue as part of the country’s Schools of Trust law and aims to reduce the discrimination faced by same-sex parents.

The change of law was supported by French President Emmanuel Macron and his party ‘Republique en Marche’.

MP Valérie Petit stated regarding the amendment

“We have families who find themselves faced with tick boxes stuck in rather old-fashioned social and family models,”
“For us, this article is a measurement of social equality.”

Conservative MP’s however, have opposed what they see as an undermining of the family unit with MP Xavier Breton stating

“When I hear people say this is an old-fashioned model, I would remind people that today among unions celebrated, civil or marital, some 95 per cent are man-woman couples,”.

The amendment itself is part of a law making school attendance compulsory for children from the age of three.

Several European countries have now fully implemented the LGBTQ agenda into education with Scotland making the teaching of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex rights a compulsory part of the school curriculum.
