The Santander banking group has announced that it’ll be closing 111 branches amidst a restructuring of the business in the UK.
After the affected branches are closed, the group will just have 452 branches in the country’s high streets.
According to Santander, a ‘significant’ number of staff will be retained and redeployed elsewhere.
