Ulster Bank has been slapped with a €38m fine over its handling of the tracker mortgage issue.

An investigation into the bank’s dealings with its customers regarding tracker mortgages revealed ‘serious failings.’

The total fine amounts to €37.774m, the largest issued against any bank in relation to the tracker mortgage scandal.
