The U.S State of Texas has banned the killing of unborn babies where a heartbeat is detectable, meaning abortions after six weeks gestation are now illegal.
Now pro-abortion activists are putting their faith in the Satanic Temple who are challenging the law on grounds of religious freedom as they claim the new protections for pre-born babies prevents them from performing “abortion rituals”.
The Satanic Temple tweeted:
“Abortion laws in TX violate our religious rights and TST has taken legal action. If TX judges abide by the Constitution and legal precedent, then those who share our deeply held beliefs will be exempt from the state’s inappropriate efforts to restrict access to abortion services.”
From The Satanic Temple’s own pronouncements abortion is considered akin to a sacrament in their eyes leading to accusations that essentially abortion is a Satanic child sacrafice.
