In 2020 when U.S President Donald Trump suggested that the Covid-19 virus may well have originated in a Chinese lab, the corporate media and political establishment went into overdrive to condemn the president and attempt to debunk his assertion.
However, just five months after President Trump left office scientists and doctors, including Anthony Fauci as well as mainstream media outlets have been forced to acknowledge that President Trump may have been correct.
President Trump looks like he might soon be vindicated yet again on one of his assertions as in May, a group of 18 scientists published a letter calling for a deeper investigation into the origins of COVID-19 which would give serious consideration to the lab-leak hypothesis – which posits that the virus escaped from the Wuhan Institute of Virology.
What more, several of those scientists, including MIT and Harvard geneticist Alina Chan, have admitted that scientists avoided the lab-leak hypothesis because they didn’t want to be associated with then-President Trump, NBC news reported.
In the same vein as the corporate media downplayed the effectiveness of drugs such as Hydroxychloroquine and Ivermectin due their political opposition to Donald Trump and to justify the economy destroying, Orwellian lockdowns they also poured scorn on the idea the virus originated in a Chinese government lab.
