The search for Ireland’s newest millionaire is on this morning after one lucky punter managed to scoop €2.5m in last night’s Euromillions draw.
In what will be a weekend to remember, the lucky player scooped the €2,521,015 jackpot after matching five numbers plus one lucky star.
The lucky win comes as there were no winners of the main jackpot worth €190m.
The numbers drawn were 6, 9, 35, 41, 44, with the lucky stars being 6 and 9.
It is not yet known where the winning ticket was purchased.
