
Following reports of someone being seen in the water overnight close to Wexford Quay, a search is still underway, reports Breaking News.
At at 2.05am Saturday, the Coast Guard received a complaint of a public person reportedly going into the sea in Wexford town.
Alongside the gardaÃ, who were also on the site, the Coast Guard helicopter R117, Wexford RNLI inshore lifeboat, and Rosslare/Carnsore and Curracloe Coast Guard units were sent to the incident, reports Breaking News.
After a thorough search of the region, the search was halted at around 5 a.m. and continued until 7.30 a.m. to give local conditions time to improve for search activities.
With Dublin-based Coast Guard helicopter R116, Wexford RNLI, and Rosslare/Carnsore and Curracloe Coast Guard personnel on the site, the search has now commenced, reports Breaking News.
