Emergency services were called last night to the Shannon Key West Hotel in Rooskey, Co. Leitrim, after locals said that they had seen ‘something’ being thrown into the building.
On arrival, firefighters could not see any smoke or fire at the location.
Gardai are still investigating a suspicious fire that broke out at the same premises last month.
The hotel is designated to house asylum seekers.
