Two separate accidents happened early this morning which left two people injured.
One of the incidents occurred on the M1 Dublin to Belfast, Junction 5, Balbriggan South, on the right lane where a driver had to be cut free from his vehicle.
The driver was brought to the hospital after he was cit free around 4.30 am. Since the incident the road has been reopened.
The second incident has occurred after midnight at Coolmine, West Dublin, where a person was hit by a train.
Details about the incident are still unclear and gardai are investigating.
