A woman serving time for killing a 16-month-old baby has allegedly joked about other buried babies.
According to the Metro, Savannah Brockhill, 28, made the sickening comments to fellow inmate Amy Louise Cowan in her prison in Cheshire, UK. The outburst is said to have come after other prisoners “spat in her food” in disgust at the killer.
Brockhill is serving a life sentence of 25 years for the killing of 16-month-old Star, the daughter of her girlfriend. Cowan, who reported the alleged comments also said that while she spent a lot of time with Brockhill in prison, she never saw her cry following the death of baby Star, who died following kicks and punches to her abdomen.
Cowan, who spoke to the Mirror’s Sunday People, also said that she considered the killer to be “cold and callous”. She herself was serving time for theft and making threats with a sharp or bladed article. She has now been freed on licence.
Before her arrest, Brockhill had made aggressive remarks on social media platforms, describing herself as the “Number 1 psycho”, and jokingly threatening love rivals.
It is not thought that the comments of Brockhill’s inmate has led to any further police investigations and there is not evidence that Brockhill was involved in any other killings.
