Police in the UK are currently searching for a man after he held a knife to a toddler’s throat during a terrifying mugging on Friday.
According to Sky News, the investigation comes after a woman aged in her 40s was approached by a man whilst walking with her grandson in Middlesbrough on Friday evening.
It is believed that the man threatened the woman whlist she was walking down Ormesby Road, in Normanby, at approximately 6pm.
Police investigating the incident say the man jumped out of the bushes and demanded that she handover her purse.
However when she refused he them proceeded to hold a knife to the infant’s throat before the woman gave him her purse.
Although thankfully no one was injured in the sickening incident, it is believed that the woman and the toddler were left shaken following the incident.
Officers investigating the case say they are searching for an Asian man aged in his early 20s with bad teeth.
They added that an investigation is currently ongoing.
