Singer R Kelly has been charged with 10 counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse, it has been revealed.
According to Chicago Sun Times newspaper, Kelly whose real name is Robert Sylvester Kelly, was charged in court in Illinois earlier today.
It is understood the charges brought against Kelly relate to sexual offences commited on four victims between 1998 and 2010.
The paper states there are four alleged victims, who were aged 13 to 16 at the time of their alleged assaults.
Kelly is due to appear in court on March 8th.
