The Sinn Fein leader Mary Lou McDonald is still missing in action from the Dail and staying at home with what she believes to be just a head cold.
McDonald’s children were forced to self-isolate when their school was the first to close in the country after a child who studies there recently returned from Northern Italy and tested positive for coronavirus.
The Sinn Fein leader missed last night’s clap for carers in the Dail at 8pm which saw people clapping for all health care workers who are on the front line.
