The Minister for Higher Education Simon Harris has rejected calls for him to return to his previous role as the Minister for Health.
Speaking to Newstalk’s The Hard Shoulder, Minister Harris said that although he was honoured to be Minister for Health he doesn’t think it’s right or realistic for him to remain to the role.
Harris told the programme that the current works extraordinarily hard and that he is dealing with a wave that has been nothing like anything ever seen before.
He added that the position wasn’t just about any individual but about everyone working together.
