Police in the UK have confirmed that six people including two children have been injured following an acid attack in Birmingham.
According to The Daily Mail newspaper, the six victims were exposed to a non corrosive substance during a robbery at a Co-op store in the Northfield area of the city.
It is believed that the substance was thrown at two staff members after they confronted two people who were trying to rob items from the store.
Police say that all six victims were treated following the incident which occurred at approximately 2:30pm, however thankfully none of the victims sustained any serious injuries.
They added that an investigation is currently ongoing.
