Canada’s oldest rape crisis shelter has been inundated with death threats and been targeted by vandals after it refused to allow “trans-woman” aka biological men, to use its facilities.
The Vancouver Rape Relief and Women’s Shelter (VRRWS) announced on twitter
“A follow up to the dead rat that was nailed to our door recently… this morning we found this writing scrawled across the windows of our storefront space that we use for support and training groups.”
Graffiti reading “Kill All Terfs” (Trans exclusionary feminists) along with other threats was scrawled on the women’s shelter.
Now after bullying from trans activists the he Vancouver City Council pulled funding for the centre in March despite having initially support the group’s stance.
There have been a number of cases where trans-“women” (men) who have been placed in facilities with actual women, such as in jails, has resulted in rapes and sexual assaults.
