Gardai in Co Cork say a six-year-old boy has been seriously injured in a incident involving a bus yesterday.
It is understood the young boy was struck by a bus in the Dunmanway area of the county at approximately 4pm yesterday afternoon. He was quickly taken to Cork University Hospital where he is said to be in a serious condition.
Gardaí are say they are currently investigating the accident and are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident.
