Sixteen people arrested during today’s protests in Dublin




Gardai arrested sixteen people during today’s protests in the capital. Ten of these were charged and brought before the court this afternoon

About 2,500 extra Gardai were deployed around the country today to monitor protests and deal with Covid rule breakers.

Gardai will maintain a strong presence around Ireland for the next few hours.
