The Government is reportedly plotting to impose a second national lockdown in three weeks’ time.
According to the Irish Mirror, the Government is planning to introduce Level 5 lockdown on October 26 -school’s half-term break-. The lockdown might extend for an extra two weeks after that.
If it comes to pass, it would be the Government’s last-ditch attempt to control the coronavirus onslaught.
