Met Eireann is now saying that Ireland might see a four-day-long snowstorm.
A weather warning is now in place until 11am tomorrow.
According to the national forecaster, temperatures will drop significantly throughout the evening and night, with bitterly cold conditions lasting well until after dawn on Friday.
Met Eireann is warning that we might see outbreaks of rain and wintry showers until Sunday at least, with daytime temperatures never reaching double digits.
