Software company OpenText creates 105 jobs in Cork City

There was more good news for jobseekers today as it has been announced that up to 105 jobs will be created in Cork City over the next two years by Canadian software company, OpenText.

The company mainly produces information management software solutions for large corporations, it is understood that they plan to expand their Global Customer Support Centre, which is currently based in Clonakilty.

The company has already undertaken a Recruitment process for technical analysts with language skills and senior management for their new operation. The new investment is supported by the Department of Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation through IDA Ireland.

The company is thought to cited a number of reasons to expand their operations here which include strong talent pool, a growing technology ecosystem and State support.
