Famous auctioneers Allsop’s are holding their biggest commercial property auction to date next month.
The auction will be held early next month in the RDS Dublin and will feature 278 properties with an estimated reserve value of €60 million.
The highlights of the auction include a stunning, 4 story Georgian house at 10 Harcourt St. with two large warehouses to the rear and an O’Brien’s sandwich shop on the property (reserve €2.9-3.1 million), a retail unit at 4-6 Pearse St., Mullingar featuring a Dealz franchise store (reserve €1.4-1.6 million) as well as many residential properties in the greater Dublin area and nationwide.
Richard O’Neill, head of commercial auction at Allsop’s stated that the demand for their properties is continuing to improve. He says that there is strong competitive bidding for dry investments and well located owner-occupier units, especially in the greater Dublin area.
“We are also noting an increasing number of UK based investors seeking secure investments and to take advantage of the sterling-versus-euro exchange rate…we expect that we will see an increase in this trend into the autumn auctions”.
