Ambulances have been involved in two separate road accidents this morning in Northern Ireland.
One of the ambulances, which was transporting a patient at the time of the accident, went into spin after colliding with a vehicle near Portrush around 8.50am this morning.
The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service (NIAS) have stated that the crew and patient involved in the crash have been treated for non-life threatening injuries at the Causeway Hospital in Coleraine.
The second crash occurred earlier this morning when a second NIAS vehicle was involved in a collision on the Shore Rd., Whiteabbey.
There were no serious injuries sustained, but the occupant of the car has been taken to the Royal Victoria Hospital for treatment.
The NIAS said that the crew had been left shaken after the ordeal and have been given a period of “downtime”.
