Sophia Weaver who was targeted by vile trolls for her disabilities sadly passes away aged 10

A 10-year-old girl who became the target of cyber bullies and trolls because of her disabilities, sadly passed away her mother confirmed.

Sophia Weaver, from North Carolina, who had a number of disabilities including type 1 diabetes and Rett syndrome as well having facial, hand and foot deformities sadly passed away on Friday her mother confirmed.

The news of Sophia’s death came after her devoted and loving mum tweeted earlier this week that her daughter became unwell after developing a fever.

However despite being hopeful that her little girl would pull through her latest set back Sophia’s mum Natalie Weaver, sadly confirmed that her daughter had passed in a tweet on Friday.

In the tweet Natalie said: “Our #SweetSophia left this earth last night as she spent every day of her life, surrounded by love & adoration,” she wrote.”

“Once we pull ourselves from this shattering pain we will continue to help others in her memory.”

According to The New York Post, Sophia who underwent over 20 surgeries in her life, became the target of vile trolls who used a photo of Sophia in a Twitter post to encourage abortions for disabled children.

Sophia’s mum who was horrified and shocked by the post has since set up a trust called Sophia’s Trust to help all children with disabilities.
