Spain says any would-be holidaymakers will be forced to quarantine for 14 days upon arrival




We’ll be more than likely be looking at staycations this summer, but if somehow foreign travel starts, then it’ll be different for some time to what we’re used to.

Spain has issued another major update for would-be holidaymakers eager for a bit of Mediterranean sunshine.

The Spanish PM has confirmed that the country will open its borders to foreign travellers from July, raising hopes that summer holidays can still be salvaged this year.

Despite the hope-raising advice, a 14-day quarantine for all inbound travellers remains in place in Spain.

Our Minister for Health, Simon Harris, recently said that it’s ‘highly unlikely’ that Irish holidaymakers would be able to go on foreign holidays this year.
