There was some bad news for SSE customers as the company have confirmed that they will be increasing Electricity and Gas prices.
In an announcement the company confirmed that the price increase will take place on April 1st.
Under the price hike Electricity prices will increase 6.2%, whilst Gas prices will increase 4.5%.
SSE also say dual fuel customers will see a 5.5% increase in prices.
They also say the price increase is the first since 2018 and they come due to circumstances that are out of their control.
