Met Eireann have advised people to stay away from coastal areas as Storm Atiyah takes hold.
There are now seven weather warnings in place as Storm Atiyah batters the country with strong winds and outbreaks of heavy rain.
The weather system brings winds of 60-80km/h and gusts upwards of 130 km/h.
A Red weather warning will kick in for Kerry at 4pm and remain in place until 7pm.
