Gardaí in Co Kildare have confirmed that a man aged in his 30s has sadly died following a road traffic incident on Saturday night.
It is understood the man a pedestrian was killed after he was struck by a vehicle in Greenhills, Kilcullen, at approximately 10pm.
Gardaí say his body has since been taken to Naas General Hospital.
It is understood that the driver of the vehicle was uninjured in the incident.
They added that an investigation is currently ongoing.
