Met Eireann has issued a Red Weather warning for Kerry as Storm Atiyah batters Ireland with gale-force winds of up to 130km/h.
The national forecaster has warned of the strong possibility of flooding in coastal areas due to the combination of storm surges and high seas.
The warning will kick in at 4pm and remain in place until 7pm.
