Met Eireann has issued a second Status Orange warning due to a strong possibility of flash flooding throughout the day.
The warning, which will remain in effect until 6pm, affects Connacht, Cavan, Monaghan, and Donegal.
Storm Francis is expected to rage across the country today, bringing heavy, persistent rain and strong winds during most of the day.
