Storm in a D cup! Very mixed reactions to Judge declaring two Dublin women can leave prison to enter quarantine after they refused hotel quarantine in Dublin following breast enhancements in Dubai

There has been a very mixed reaction to two young women returning to Dublin from Dubai after going to get cosmetic breast surgery carried out but refused to hotel quarantine when ambushed by gardai in Dublin Airport on Good Friday.

Many, many people are saying that these two women should safely just have to return to their own house to quarantine rather than fork out some €2,000 to quarantine in hotels near the airport under government demands.

Other social media users are blaming the gardai saying that by “following orders”, they’re just as bad as politicians at this stage and that they’ve completely lost faith in the force.

Some people are saying that the women should have to hotel quarantine for fear of the virus, which has a high recovery rate.

On Easter Sunday, a Judge said that two young Irish women who were arrested in Dublin Airport after flying back from Dubai on Good Friday and refusing to go to hotel quarantine can leave prison and enter hotel quarantine.

The women are both aged in their 30s and were returning from having reportedly getting breast enhancement surgery carried out in Dubai.

It’s understood that the women were arrested when they refused to go to hotels to quarantine and will appear in court today in relation to the matter.

RTE reports that both women have been remanded in custody with each woman providing €800 own bail, €500 in cash and an independent surety of €2,000. Some €1,800 would be in paid cash with the surety to be approved by a District Court Judge and the surety account frozen at €200.

It’s understood that both women plan on challenging the State over the constitutionality of the legislation but that they would now quarantine even though they provided three negative tests in the past week.

Many people believe that it’s absolutely ludicrous for cases like this to waste court time and for people who fly out and into the country on a short basis to have to spend close to €2,000 to quarantine.

After they were remanded in custody, they can finally leave prison and enter quarantine.
