It has been confirmed that tomorrow’s scheduled strike amongst hospital support staff has been called off.
In an announcement representatives from SIPTU confirmed that the strike action was cancelled pending further talks at Workplace Relations Commission.
However representatives did state that further strike action on June 25th and 26th will go ahead as planned if a resolution is not found during the latest round of talks.
The scheduled strike action comes following a dispute over the implementation of a job evaluation scheme.
