Students skip school to ‘demand climate change’ – Eamon Ryan says the government will listen to them

Young people around the world took to the streets to call for urgent action to prevent catastrophic climate change.

The movement, launched two years ago, was inspired by Swedish activist Greta Thunberg.

Across Ireland, many students decided to skip school to strike for climate change, with protests in city centers in Dublin, Cork and Galway.
