Well over half of white women who identify politically as “liberal” under the age of 30 have been diagnosed with a mental health issue a 2020 Pew Research study has revealed.
The study, conducted in the US, examined white people who identified as liberal, moderate and conservatives, both male and female and it found that conservatives were far less likely to be diagnosed with mental health issues than those who identified as either liberal or even “very liberal”.
Millennials, who have pioneered so-called “woke politics” which focuses on “social justice” in relation to critical race theory and gender ideology have been dubbed by critics as “snowflakes” as they often have meltdowns when called out for their often nonsensical views.
However, it appears there may be truth to this aspersion as this study shows some type of correlation between liberal views and mental illness.
Other similar studies in recent years showed that men who held liberal views were more likely to be weaker and have less testosterone than men with right wing or traditionalist and nationalistic views.
