Sunshine To Come this St Patrick’s day as Met Eireann say the recent mild weather spell looks set to continue

It is St Patrick’s Day tomorrow and most of us will be attending parades and events all across the country to celebrate everything that is Irish, and if the the traditional festivities were’nt enough it seems we are set to have good spell over milder weather over the coming days.

The recent sunshine which has us dreaming of warmer summer days to come, looks set to continue throughout the week which will surely have us out and about during our couple of days off from work.

According to the state forecaster Met Eireann says today will be bright with a mix of cloud and sunny spells, with afternoon temperatures expecting to reach 14 degrees in most places. Although it will be a slight bit cooler in eastern and southern areas,  with some sharp frost, mist and fog developing overnight.

Meanwhile tomorrow (St Patrick’s day) will be dry and bright with a mix of cloud and sunny spells. It will be a slight bit cooler with afternoon temperatures reaching 10 degrees in eastern and southern coastal counties, due to moderate east to southeast winds. However it will be milder elsewhere with temperatures reaching up to 12 degrees.
