The man, reportedly a French-Algerian national, was travelling on a false French passport when he was detained by gardai this morning.
He is being held at Ballymun Garda Station, where he is under questioning about the false travel documentation.
It is understood that the suspect expressed support for last week’s Paris attacks and was under surveillance by international agencies.
