A suspected poacher was reportedly trampled to death by elephants while attempting to flee park rangers.
The incident happened at Kruger National Park in South Africa on Saturday.
Rangers believe that a party of three people was hunting rhinos in the area.
One of the poachers died, while a second one was arrested. The third suspect, who’s believed to be badly injured, managed to flee.
The suspect in custody told rangers that the group ran into a herd of adult elephants and calves while attempting to escape capture.
