Parents and children are advised to be vigilant after a man in a red car allegedly approached a child in Clonsilla, Dublin 15, at approximately 4pm yesterday.
It is understood the child is a pupil at Scoil Mhuire Senior School in Clonsilla.
Gardai are investigating the incident.
