The Taoiseach, Leo Varadkar, participated in a Remembrance Day ceremony in Enniskillen, Co Fermanagh, to pay tribute to the victims of the IRA bombing that took place 36 years ago, reports RTE.
The attack targeted the Royal British Legion event in the area and resulted in the death of 12 individuals.
As a continuation of the tradition started by his predecessor Enda Kenny 13 years ago, Leo Varadkar laid a green laurel wreath at the war memorial in the town, reports RTE.
During the ceremony, a two-minute silence was observed to honor all those killed in wars, and the 12 victims of the IRA bomb attack were also remembered.
Following the ceremony, the Taoiseach attended a cross-community church service in Enniskillen, reports RTE.
