A taxi driver sustained injuries during an assault in Co. Dublin in the early hours of Sunday morning.
It is understood that the driver dropped two people off in the Jobstown area of Tallaght, Dublin. The passengers then turned on the driver, assaulting and taking money and other items off him.
The victim suffered injuries to his face.
Taxi drivers have been the target of a number of attacks in the Tallaght area in recent weeks.
